Maltego is a visual link analysis tool that comes with a standard set of data connectors called Transforms and offers real-time data mining and information gathering. Maltego works with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) data out the box and gives users the ability to connect their own data via Maltego’s server products or make use of the data provided by Maltego’s Transform hub partners. For more than 10 years, Maltego has been empowering investigators around the world to make sense of data. Today, we have a large userbase , ranging from individual cybersecurity consultants to security professionals in large tech companies, from fraud teams in international banks to investigators in government agencies.

Why we need you
While developing, marketing and selling an established product, Maltego Technologies is still a young company with ambitious plans to grow. We are currently in the phase of establishing a series of business processes in the areas of key account management and sales, data hub partnerships, and customer success. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technical operations as we want to extend and automate our internal processes.
What to expect
As a part of our Technical Operations team, you will work with our systems, network and security procedures.
You responsibilities will include:
- set up needed servers and services to run Maltego functionality
- maintain servers and keeping them up to date
- organizing and managing network communications between servers and services
- establish new access rights and network solutions for test and customer cases
- Establishes and enforces security policy such as encryption at rest.
- Managing encryption keys and firewall rules.
- Performing periodic security assessments
Your profile in short
- Technical college degree (or relevant experience), solid understanding of IT infrastructure, client/server software
- Experience using Linux System administration and at least an intro to scripting languages (Shell, Python, go)
- Completed some work related to containerized solution administration and a public cloud experience (Azure, Google, AWS)
- Able to present ideas in a way that is clear and precise
- Willingness and dedication to find new approaches and solutions to common problems
Ideal Certifications:
- ITIL Foundation
- LPIC 1
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
Your tech skills
- Linux system administration (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, Suse, CoreOs, Fedora, CentOs)
- Shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines)
- Configuration management and IAC (Ansible, Puppet, Foreman, Packer, Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring solutions (CheckMk, Nagios, Icinga, Prometheus)
