We are now looking for one ETI - Aircraft Simulation Engineer (M/F/D) for a well-known customer company in Weßling.

Your Profil:

• Aeronautical Engineering degree
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Autonomous worker and good communicator
• Very good written and oral knowledge in English. German is a plus.
• Familiar with the aerospace V&V process
• Experience with use of aircraft simulators to support development and pilot training, incl. maintenance
• Good skills in modelling and simulation, incl. real-time simulation and HILS
• Excellent software skills. C++, Matlab Simulink, RT operating systems
• Good knowledge about aircraft systems, in particular avionic systems
• Knowledge of the respective simulation standards

Your Tasks:

• Provide technical leadership for all aspects of simulation, such as architecture definition, model definitions and general way of working
• Define, implement and maintain comprehensive simulation environment representative of the aircrafts under development, e.g. D328Eco
• Setup offline and manned simulations to replicate aircraft characteristics and systems
• Define and build-up Engineering (Cockpit) Simulator to support system validation and test
• Establish interfaces between simulation and test benches, esp. avionic test bench to support HILS
• Plan and coordinate simulator modifications and testing activities as part of the overall integrated test (V&V) plan • Manage schedule and configuration of simulation environment (HW & SW)
• Provide simulation services to the design organization, continuously integrate and update system models based on engineering and wind tunnel data
• Support Training Simulator development and certification by leveraging synergies from engineering simulation • Conduct simulator activities in close liaison with the technical departments
• Supplier management and collaboration with strategic partner companies
