The Trainer at Derichebourg Aeronautics Services GmbH is in charge of providing, leading and designing training courses for our employees.
Developing educational contents:
Design teaching materials and ensure that they are distributed on the company's shared network, using the company's presentation framework
Update the teaching materials and practical exercises - adapt and monitor of our internal qualification tracking system "Certification Management" in BISON HQ
Prepare practical exercises and assessments to monitor trainees and employees progress, in consultation with the other stakeholders (Production, HR and Quality Departments)
Educational support to trainees/employees:
Assess, evaluate and correct work samples carried out by trainees and employees
Complete the trainees/employees assessment grids and carry out regular reviews to monitor their progress
Preparing trainees/employees
Organize exams simulations (Practical and oral exams)
On-boarding: Give new employees all necessary on-boarding trainings and awareness such as FOD, Human factor, safety briefings and system (internal and customer) introductions
Ensuring Safety:
Keeping workstations tidy and clean
Ensure that basic personal protective equipment is worn at all times
Comply with current health and safety regulations;
Report any accidents or incidents that occur on site or on the way to or from the site to reception and the management team.
Day-to-Day administrative management:
Keeping monitoring documents (filling in evaluation sheets, 360 process)
Check trainees'/employees daily attendance
Report absences and attendance
Helping to draw up schedules and break down the modules for each session
Fill in the daily logbook for each training session, detailing the modules seen, exercises carried out, etc.)
Functional management:
Ensure that your equipment is properly maintained and that its validity dates are respected
Manage the inventory of checkouts each time a session comes in or goes out (loss, damage etc.)
Anticipating requests for tools and consumables
Report any malfunctions or deficiencies in equipment
Operational surveillance of the production teams in the scope of qualification requirements
Participative management and communication:
Take part in teaching meetings and information-sharing meetings
Participate in group information meetings on request
Participate in various trade fairs on request
Reporting line and functional links: Manager: Operations Manager, Quality Manager, HR Director
Your profile
Training and experience
A Bachelor or Msc Degree in aviation related studies
At least 5 years' professional experience in teaching
Or 15 years' professional experience if no qualifications or diplomas in the field.
Experience as a trainer/tutor/manager in an industrial environment is required
Associated knowledge
Understanding the aeronautical environment ;
Be familiar with the technical documentation associated with your your field of specialization
Knowledge of technical English: C1 level required
Proficiency in the use of office automation tools;
Good teaching and interpersonal skills;
