Aerospace Data Security GmbH (ASDS) is an innovative technology company of the Airbus Group. For more than 25 years, we have been developing highly secure communication and cryptography solutions for customers in aerospace, defence, and other security-critical sectors.

YOUR TASKS

• Development of safety-critical software for demanding aerospace applications
• Software development in accordance with established quality standards and relevant ECSS and DO requirements
• Definition and specification of software products and creation of software concepts
• Development and refinement of suitable software architectures
• Programming and integration of software modules in C/C++
• Optimization and further development of development processes and methods
• Planning and estimation of development effort
• Development and implementation of software testing concepts
• Execution and analysis of software tests
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, such as specifications, design descriptions, test procedures, and reports
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across software, hardware, engineering, project management, and other specialist areas
• Coordination of technical requirements with internal and external project partners

YOUR PROFILE

You are an experienced software developer with:

• a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• experience in embedded software development using C/C++
• experience with formal development processes, ideally in accordance with the ESA-ECSS standard
• a strong understanding of systems and the ability to independently translate designs into complex specifications
• experience in creating technical documentation, particularly regarding system design and test documentation
• a strong commitment to quality and safety
• an independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
• excellent teamwork and communication skills
• good German and proficient English skills (spoken and written)
• high integrity and a strong sense of responsibility regarding our specialized field of data security
